Darrin Minnard
Owner’s Representative – Project Manager
Darrin Minnard is a highly resourceful Certified Data Center Energy Practitioner (HVAC Specialist) with over nine years of specialized experience in mission-critical data center design, commissioning, automation, and optimization. Darrin has built and scaled commissioning and controls programs from the ground up, establishing standardized processes that have driven significant improvements in reliability and efficiency. His expertise spans mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC infrastructure (CRAC units, chilled water plants), power systems, and Tridium Niagara-based Building Management Systems (BMS). Darrin excels in leading cross-functional teams, providing technical oversight during commissioning, conducting thermal audits, and implementing value engineering.
Outside of work, Darrin calls Colorado home and embraces the relaxed pace of rural living. He spends much of his free time in the mountains, where he enjoys snowboarding during the winter months and making memories with his loved ones. When summer arrives, he trades snowboards for softball fields and lake days.
