Christopher Kirtland is a seasoned Safety Manager with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in data center, commercial, and industrial environments. With a career rooted in hands-on carpentry and elevated through progressively senior safety roles, Chris is known for his unwavering commitment to jobsite safety, compliance, and the well-being of all personnel. Throughout his career, Chris has led safety programs for high-profile projects across Arizona, California, Texas, Washington, and even the remote Grand Canyon’s Phantom Ranch. From building and enforcing comprehensive safety programs to conducting high-risk excavations and managing utility work, he has consistently delivered zero lost-time incidents while mentoring teams and collaborating with major contractors like Skanska, Southland Industries, and Kitchell. Chris is certified across a wide range of disciplines including OSHA 500, confined space entry, excavation safety, aerial and forklift training, EM-385, MSHA 48, and CPR/First Aid. His extensive training background, combined with his boots-on-the-ground knowledge and sharp hazard identification skills, make him an invaluable asset on any jobsite.
